⚡ Energy Elo — Privacy Policy

Energy Elo ("we", "our", "the app") is an energy drink rating and discovery app. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

• Account info: email address, username, and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text).
• Activity data: drinks you rate, ratings you give, notes you write, and photos you optionally attach to a rating.
• Device push token: used to send you notifications (submission approvals, streak reminders, and app updates). You can disable this in your device's notification settings at any time.

How We Use Information

• To operate core app features: ratings, rankings, leaderboards, and your personal history.
• To send you notifications you've opted into (submission status, streaks, announcements).
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Storage

Your data is stored on our servers (Railway, PostgreSQL) and photo uploads are stored via Cloudinary. Both providers are contracted solely to host this data on our behalf.

Your Rights

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete Account inside the app. This immediately and permanently removes your account, ratings, and history from our systems.

Children's Privacy

Energy Elo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
